Bristol Channel Diving are closing down their dive shop in Cardiff, UK and selling the equipment listed and photographed below in three packages:
Package 1 – Compressors & boosters
Package 2 – Cylinder testing equipment
Package 3 – Workshop spares and tooling
Please note they will NOT split the three packages.
The doors are closing on the dive shop in Cardiff on the 29th of August. All the above can be seen running prior to that date. Sold as seen. Collection only, however they say they can probably help load compressors and heavy kit on to a van with a fork lift.

Package 1 – Compressors & boosters:
1 x Silent Hamworthy V34H-AL 480LPM
Rated to 414 bar, but set up to run to 350 bar
Semi automatic on/off and oil monitoring
7,914 running hours, new compressor block fitted @ at approx. 8,000 running hours
3 phase supply required
1 x Silent Bauer Verticus 5 V 180-15-5 630LPM
Rated to 450 bar, but set to run at 330 bar
Full Securus system fitted, semi automatic on/off, oil level, temperature & moisture monitoring
1,193 running hours, serviced to within an inch of it’s life !
3 phase supply required
Both compressors have been fully maintained under a comprehensive maintenance and repair contract with Revolution Air Services Ltd since ownership, and we have full 6 month service & maintenance records for both units and air quality test certs.
Total output when run in parallel is 1,110 LPM
6 x 68L storage cylinders, 5 in test, 1 x out of test, all WP414 bar. Link hoses all less than 6 months old. c/w all fittings.
3 x filling panel’s consisting of;
1 x Subaqua Products Eanx/trimix blending panel c/w 4 outlet DIN whips PRV set @ 240 bar WP
1 x Subaqua Products Eanx/trimix blending panel c/w 3 outlet DIN whips PRV set @ 305 bar WP

All fitted with OPV’s.
All the panels have recently (within 4 months) been serviced, and the two Eanx/trimix panels O2 cleaned.
All hoses replaced within the last 1 to 3 years.
1 x Analox ‘CO Clear’ monitor installed in the Eanx/trimix panel oulet gas manifold. 240v power lead.
2 x Decanting / blending whip’s c/w digital gauges.
1 x Factair 2000 air quality test station, c/w 1st stage reducer & 240v power lead.
2 x Haskel gas boosters in O2 service. 1 x ACT 30/75 double action, 1 x AGT 15/30 double action c/w with 30L drive gas cylinder (in test), regulator & supply hose. All serviced less than 6 months ago, and an adjustable PRV in O2 service.
3 x Analox G21 – 2 O2 analysers
3 x Atomox helium analysers
All user manuals for all of the above supplied. All of the above can be seen running by appointment before the end of August.

Package 2 – Cylinder testing equipment from their IDEST cylinder test centre (5B)
1 x Old Lacy-Hulbert volumetric & proof cylinder test bench
1 x Octopus Systems internal cylinder shot blaster c/w 3 x 30L drive gas cylinders & hoses
1 x Old Birchley Products single cylinder dryer
1 x 29 various M25, G3/4”, M18, .600”, .715” plug & ring thread gauges (calibration expires depending on the thread gauge between June 2026 and June 2028 )
1 x 3 x torque wrenches and all the other equipment and tooling such as drop lights required to set up as an IDEST cylinder test centre, and IDEST training for one person thrown in.
£8,500 + VAT as is, or, £9,000 + VAT with master gauge and thread gauges needing calibration completed
Package 3 – Workshop spares and tooling:
A variety (hundreds !) of manufacturers regulator service kits, and thousands of spare parts for regulators and BCD’s, and, all the specific manufacture’s tools for Apeks, Aqualung, Poseidon, Atomic, Scubapro, Mares, rEvo, Sherwood, Suunto etc, c/w 3 x heated ultrasonic baths, parts racking, 3 x regulator test stations c/w standard and differential magnehelic gauges IP gauges etc, manufacturers manuals on PC’s, 2 x watch / computer pressure test chambers.
If you do the math’s, and priced each spare part and service kit at £2 each, there is approximately £6,000 alone.
